Ashan Perera - Founder

Ashan Perera, is a Social Innovation Professional, Advocate, and Strategist who has been the driving force behind many initiatives on social impact. He leads an initiative that supports social impact, the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, climate change, and entrepreneurial thinking and has chapters in 22 countries and collaborates with 74 universities. Ashan Perera is a recipient of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Action Award 2018, the JCI Top Outstanding Young Persons Award in Sri Lanka in 2014, and the Human Rights Hero Award in 2012 in Brussels, Belgium.


Piyumi Sandunika - Chairperson

Piyumi Sandunika is an undergraduate who follows Genetics and Molecular Biology honours degree in University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She was the inaugural president of GEMSOC (Genetics and Molecular Biology society) of USJP and started her position as the National Coordinator of UCC in 2022.
She currently works with University of Peradeniya and Export agriculture Department of Sri Lanka as a passionate young researcher and work towards the development of plant-based medicine and drug discovery.
Her main interest is to become a Research Scientist and work towards the sustainable development of the country.

Akshika Sewwandi – Project Coordinator

Akshika Sewwandi is Project Coordinator at United Children Club on National Board. She is a final-year undergraduate from the University of Ruhuna. She has worked on several projects at her university. She is passionate about volunteering and currently, she is a volunteer in several non-government organizations. Based on her Dhamma school is the finest way to help children become the best versions of themselves. She aims to make skillful children by empowering children physically and mentally with joining this society.

Pramodya Galagoda - Growth and expansion position

Pramodya galagoda a 23 old undergraduate who follows bachelor of social work degree in National institute of social development and Also she is a volunteer active member of zero plastic project and leo club of bachelor of social work (leo district 306C2). Her main interest is to become a professional social worker and psychologist counselor and work towards making a human life better.

Nethmi Diddeniya - Administration

Nethmi Diddeniya, a 23 years old undergraduate who is following an Economic Special Degree at University of Ruhuna. She has been actively involved in various volunteering activities during her university life.
She is a dedicated individual who believes in making a positive impact in the society.
As the Administrative Coordinator of the United Children's Club (UCC), She plays an integral role in coordinating and organizing various activities for the club.
Her passion, positivity, and leadership skills make a valuable asset to the organization.

Sithumi Manikkarathna - Social Media & Publication

Sithumi Manikkarathna is a student following a diploma from Sri Lanka Sagara University and a diploma in Psychology . She has an outgoing personality who has many experiences in a variety of fields. Such as, - working as a journalist for the Meepura website. - Into photography and work with Piripun udayak program - Secretary of Gampaha District Child Affairs Ending Child Abuse for Children - works as a representative budget leader and works as a social worker. It is her dream to help others create a better society. In UCC she works as the public relations coordinator and is determined to work towards the sustainable development of the country
